This DT post will suit colleagues who have a specialism in Food and Nutrition, Textiles or Product Design.


The department as a whole offers DT, Textiles and Food and Nutrition at both GCSE and A-Level.  It is a well resourced department with specialist facilities and has highly developed programmes of learning.  


The Beacon School is currently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is part of the thriving GLF Schools Multi-Academy Trust. We have academic express streams, a strong house system and enrichment activities. We offer extensive professional development opportunities and the school is an exciting, innovative place to work.
