Starting salary: G6 £21,253 - £24,387 FTE per annum (pro rata for part time / term time working patterns) 

Hours: Ideally full time, 52 weeks a year, however we are flexible for the right candidate

Start date: ASAP

This is a great opportunity to join one of our regional finance teams and, ultimately, to make a difference to the outcomes of the children and young people attending the schools within our Multi Academy Trust. This position would suit someone who has experience of working with financial systems and offers the possibility of support to train for financial qualifications in the future.


The Regional Finance Officer will work as part of the regional finance team, led by the Regional Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools by providing transactional and administration support. 


This role will be key in supporting one of the two secondary schools in the region - Meridian High School. Although the successful applicant will be based at Meridian High School, there will be an expectation for them to do work for the other schools within our South and Eastern region. 


The successful applicant will support in the delivery of regional monthly financial reports, assist in income management, control and monitoring, (including school trips, lettings, nursery and before/after school club income), process nominal postings, assist in control account reconciliations and any other tasks under the guidance of the Regional Finance Manager.
