We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate to join our excellent Drama department.  The position commences in September 2020.   We would ideally like to fill this role on a full time basis but are also willing to consider flexible options.  There is also the potential opportunity to teach English if the timetable allows.

The Drama Department currently consists of two full-time members of teaching staff and a Performing Arts Co-ordinator. The Drama department moved to new purpose built studios in the 2016, consisting of two drama studios, with state-of-the art lighting and sound facilities.

Drama is taught in year groups throughout the school, with both GCSE and A Level options. It is a popular subject at all levels, with all examination students achieving or exceeding expectations. 81% of students achieved 9-6 at GCSE and 100% achieved A*-B at A Level in 2019.   The department provides a range of co-curricular activities for students, including from Drama clubs, school productions, residential trips and theatre trips. Speech and Drama classes are provided alongside curricular drama. We also have strong links with the Music Department and collaborate with them on productions on a regular basis.
