We are looking for a dedicated and outstanding Science Technician who is able to assist in the efficient running of our science laboratories.
Your Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a conscientious and dedicated Science Technician to provide technical and learning support to teaching staff and to our students. This role will be well suited for candidates who are looking to work with students to advise and guide them safely so that their learning in Science is safe and enjoyable.
As a member of the team at Rosebery School, you will have plenty of CPD opportunities for professional development and growth. Working as part of the GLF Trust comprising of 43 schools, we can support you with career pathways for progression.

You will:
- Be enthusiastic and highly motivated, committed to working as part of a team.
- Be able to support high standards of teaching and learning in relation to practical work.
- Be able to advise and share ideas on improving practical work or present new ideas.
- As appropriate, present demonstrations in class and discuss practical aspects of experiments with students.
- Be aware of safety issues and perform all duties whilst adhering to safety standards.
- Be capable of self-directed work.
- Have high standards of communication and interpersonal skills.

The Details
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Associate 3.1 £24,272
Actual Salary: £18,850.96
Hours: 32.5 hours per week 8.30am - 3.30pm (Term time only - 39 weeks incl. INSET)
