Are you seeking a new challenging career in pastoral care supporting young adults to achieve their potential?

Your opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed pastoral welfare lead, who is motivated to work with passion and a relentless energy to make a significant difference to the students at our school In particular you will work with some of our most challenging students, who often find meeting our high expectations of attendance and behaviour difficult as a result of a variety of barriers they face at home and at school. The students you will work with require that little bit extra guidance and support to get things back on track. This rewarding role is a real chance to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our community. You will have a passion for supporting young people and a desire to help them develop confidence and skills to deal with the daily challenges they face. You will be part of the wider pastoral team, working with a Head of Year and parents and students alike. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with students, their families, teachers and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for the student.

We are actively seeking candidates who are eager to join our vibrant school community. We are in search of individuals who are excited about the prospect of our rapid improvement journey and who possess the ability to make valuable contributions to our team. We firmly believe in the power of teamwork; while perfection may be elusive on an individual level, together as a team, we can achieve greatness, this is why we encourage applications from individuals with diverse and varied backgrounds and experiences. We recognise the value of different perspectives and understand the importance of inclusivity.

The working pattern is 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, term time only (37.5 hours, 39 weeks). Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for full details.
