Are you ready to join a successful, nurturing, high achieving primary school as a Learning Support Assistant providing Pastoral and Inclusion support?

Your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about pupil welfare and can make a difference to the learning journey of a child. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the behaviour, communication, social and emotional development of children across the school and will actively assist our Teachers and Inclusion Leader in supporting children both within and outside the classroom.

The role will be split between providing interventions through small group and one-to-one work with pupils to support their learning and academic progress and providing behavioural and pastoral support as a trained ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and Thrive Practitioner.

Experience of a similar role or working in a primary school is preferred, however we would also welcome applications from candidates with a background of supporting young children in a different context.

What we are looking for

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant who will have a specific focus on providing inclusion and pastoral support. This role is offered on a part time, term time only basis.

Please read the Job Description and Person Specification for more information and before applying.
