GLF Schools seeks to recruit a pro-active and highly effective Infrastructure Manager to join our IT Team on a 12 month fixed term contractto ensure that the Trusts organisation systems are fully operational and fit for purpose.

Your Opportunity

Working in collaboration with the Head of Technical Delivery and the wider IT services team, the Infrastructure Managers role is to build resilience across the Technical Delivery Team, taking responsibility for the planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems and personnel. These systems are critical and enable our schools and our central team to be able to do their jobs efficiently.

This is a hybrid role - you will be expected to be able to travel to all the schools within the Trust as required (spanning across Banbury, Wokingham, Camberley, Epsom, Banstead, Croydon, Wandsworth, Caterham, Redhill, Crawley and Horsham), therefore having your own transport is essential (expenses will be covered). 

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Diagnosis and resolution of software issues with current Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems
  • Relationship management with end users and suppliers
  • Deployment of software applications using centralised deployment tools such as Intune and SCCM
  • Working within a large team of multi-skilled IT professionals

The Details

Salary: £36,000 FTE per annum 

Hours of work: We are offering this role as a full time role of 36 hours per week over 52 weeks of the year.

Contract: 12 months fixed term

Start Date: As soon as available
