Do you have industry experience in hairdressing and a passion for supporting young people to succeed? We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Hairdressing Tutor to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire students and help them build valuable vocational skills.

You will play a key role in developing confidence, creativity, and future aspirations within a supportive school environment at Highdown.  This is a rewarding opportunity to share your expertise, engage young people in vocational learning, and support them in achieving positive educational and career outcomes.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an innovative and experienced hairdressing practitioner with the ability to teach and assess students in VTCT Level 1 & 2 Certificate in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.  An enthusiastic tutor who can deliver in the classroom with practical and theory of Hairdressing lessons and can also develop and promote the subject through extra-curricular activities and with other departments for school productions. You should be a highly motivated and successful individual who is willing to contribute to all aspects of the school vision and the many enrichment activities that the school offers; a willingness to teach across years and abilities is essential.
