We are looking for an experienced and passionate EYFS Leader to join Whyteleafe Primary School on a part-time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave until December 2025. This is an out-of-class leadership role, providing the opportunity to shape and drive the Early Years provision, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our youngest learners. This role is ideal for a highly experienced EYFS educator with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, dedicated to maintaining excellence in early years education.
What we are looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
- Proven track record as a good or outstanding teacher
- Experience in leading professional development and supporting improvements in teaching and learning
- Strong data analysis skills to inform planning and enhance outcomes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support staff
- A commitment to continuous professional development, staying up to date with curriculum and teaching advancements
- Resilience, motivation, and a team-focused approach, aligning with the school’s values and vision

Start Date: ASAP
Pay Scale: GLF Upper Pay Range
Days per week: 60/100ths (3 days per week) - Mon-Weds preferred but can be flexible.
Contract type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)
