Your opportunity: 

We are looking to recruit a motivated Cover Supervisor and PE Assistant to join our small, hard working Cover team, enabling students to continue to learn in the absence of their class teacher. Main duties of the role include supervising lessons, presenting students with designated tasks and keeping good order in the lesson.  The post holder will also be the primary Cover Supervisor for practical PE lessons and support the PE Department in assisting with fixtures, extra-curricular activities and other duties, as directed by the Head of PE. 

What we are looking for: 

  • Experience of working with young people, ideally in the education sector
  • A strong interest in PE and Sport, with the ability to enthuse students
  • High standards of communication and interpersonal skills
  • A reliable and highly motivated individual who is committed to working as part of a team
  • An ability to motivate students and values the importance of high expectations
  • A passion for student welfare

Salary: GLF Specialist 1 £26,272 FTE

Actual Salary: £23,543.38

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (3 days 8am – 4.30pm; 2 days 8am - 3.15pm) Term time only
