Your Opportunity

We are seeking an Attendance Officer to join our dedicated and experienced Pastoral Team.

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting young people? We are looking for an Attendance Officer to play a key role in maintaining accurate student attendance records and ensuring every child has the best opportunity to succeed. 

Working under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for monitoring and recording attendance data, liaising with families, teachers, the pastoral team and external agencies to promote good attendance and punctuality. This is a fast paced rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach. You will work closely with our newly appointed Home School Link Worker to improve the attendance of students. 

The role is 37.5 hours per week, term time only with a working pattern of 8am to 4pm on Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be expected to respect the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment and will enjoy the rewards of working within a friendly and co-operative team.

The Details

Start date: ASAP

Contract type: Permanent, Term Time Only

Salary: £24,982 to £33,592 FTE. This is 'Specialist' of the GLF Pay Scale.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term time only with a working pattern of 8am to 4pm on Monday to Friday
