Southgate Primary School are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 to join our early years team and help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development through play, ensuring their safety and well-being, and making a meaningful difference in their early educational journey. Working closely with our EYFS Leader and team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting individual children as a key worker, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school community.
What we're looking for:
- A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification (level 3 would be desirable but not essential)
- Up to date safeguarding training
- Good understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage

Salary: GLF Associate 2 - £23,914
Actual Salary: £20,715.94
Hours: Term Time Only (39 Weeks) - 36.25hrs per week
