We are preparing for a potential opportunity to join our dynamic regional People team and are inviting expressions of interest for an experienced and enthusiastic People Administrator.
This anticipated vacancy offers an exciting chance to contribute to a key function supporting both Greenway and Southgate Primary Schools. Working closely with the Headteacher, Head of People Operations and People Partner as well as the school-based teams, you’ll help deliver a high-quality, people-focused service across a variety of HR administration activities.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing people administration tasks including data, reporting, and compliance
- Supporting recruitment and managing the onboarding process for new joiners in line with safer recruitment guidelines
- Maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR) and staff personnel files
- Acting as the first point of contact for people-related enquiries with professionalism and discretion
The role is for 20 hours per week, with working days and working pattern to be agreed in consultation with the successful candidate. Occasional flexibility will be required to support OFSTED inspections. As a flexible employer, we are open to exploring flexible working patterns during the interview process.
If you’re skilled, adaptable, and passionate about people and education, we’d love to hear from you.
What we are looking for:
- A good awareness and understanding of people administration, to ensure compliance with regulation and procedures
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, including the ability to form rapport and build good working relationships with others
- Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative
- A relevant HR qualification equivalent to Level 3 (Foundation Certificate in People Practice) would be advantageous, as would experience of working within a school environment, but neither are essential.
